Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Paikmal Bargarh was established in 2006(1st batch admitted in Cl-VI on 13.08.2006) by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Under the Dept.of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India. The Vidyalaya is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. The Vidyalaya is presently running at a temporary site at Vocational School Building in the Govt Boys High School, Paikmal Campus with scattered classrooms and hostel building. State govt have already given 26.9 acres of land to Vidyalaya in two phase and construction work has been started from December of 2009 by MPLUN, Bhopal.
